Laboratory for Glass and Thermal Insulation

The Laboratory for Glass and Thermal Insulation is dedicated to research and development in the fields of glass and thermal insulation materials. In addition to standard laboratory equipment, it is equipped with a glass melting furnace, a glass viscosimeter, a chamber furnace for annealing, and a climate chamber. These facilities enable the synthesis of glass materials and the analysis of their viscous properties.

The research in the laboratory focuses on the development of sustainable insulation materials, with particular emphasis on the recycling of waste materials and high-temperature synthesis. It thus provides the essential infrastructure for advancing environmentally friendly solutions in the field of thermal insulation.
