EFFECTIVE TEAMWORK WORKSHOP

This Tuesday, 9 December, our team took part in an Effective Teamwork Workshop with Upravna akademija, Ministrstvo za javno upravo, led by Matej Golob, an experienced facilitator and coach known for helping teams adopt modern collaboration practices and build high-performing cultures.

After short introductions, we jumped straight into our first group activity. Divided into teams, we explored the pluses of our current team culture and work interactions; as well as the deltas — areas with room for improvement.

We were proud to see that many of our strengths were shared across all groups: a connected, motivated team that works well together and genuinely gets along.

We also identified opportunities to grow: ensuring more overlap between working groups, improving knowledge transfer, introducing a suggestion board in the lobby and more.

What we appreciated most was that we didn’t stop at identifying challenges — we initiated an action plan and assigned responsible people to drive three main delta initiatives forward. Matej also promised to check in later to see how we’re progressing, which gives the whole process continuity.

The workshop continued with insights into effective work and team collaboration practices.

In our second group activity, we discussed concrete ways we can enhance psychological safety at work. Again a valuable conversation.

The workshop left us with positive impressions and an active plan to address some of our challenges.
