Our researcher Dr. Uroš Hribar, together with the Department of Knowledge Technologies (E8) at JSI, has published a new paper: “Optimizing foamed glass production with machine learning” in journal Materials & Design (Elsevier).

Using machine learning methods, the team identified key process parameters, predicted new processing conditions, and experimentally validated them —producing foamed glass with optimized properties.

This work highlights the power of combining AI with sustainable materials innovation.
