Researchers from Jožef Stefan Institute, L. Udovč, M. Vukomanović and M. Spreitzer (Advanced Materials Department, K9) revealed study, which provides novel insight into designing synthetic piezoelectric polymers with significantly improved interactions with cells and tissues, which are particularly important for their application in biomedicine. They published their findings in the journal Polymer Journal.
