General Assembly of the ELCA network

Jakob König and Vesna Butinar participated in the General Assembly of the ELCA network, which was held in Berlin. European Lightweight Cluster Alliance is a collaborative initiative that aims to accelerate the adoption of lightweight materials in strategic industries. The alliance will establish a unique inclusive business framework which enable the main players from established industries and research institutions to explore lightweight-driven market opportunities collaboratively, and facilitate activities to put the lightweight technologies into practice. 

At the meeting, more than 20 partners had the chance to participate in planning the common activities for 2020. The event also hosted the presentations of some of the most important companies and research experts working on lightweight.
