Urška Gabor received an Award for Best Oral Presentation

Urška Gabor from the Department of Advanced Materials K-9 is this year's winner of the competition for young researchers at the 24th International Conference on Materials and Technology. The international jury unanimously judged her the first place for the best oral presentation. In  her presentation entitled “Different Approaches to Avoiding Lead Deficiency in PMN-PT Thin Films” Urška Gabor spoke about pulsed-laser deposition of piezoelectric thin films for use in energy harvesting applications, where she managed to prepare single-phase thin films by designing the appropriate target composition and by optimizing the deposition conditions  She received an award  from the conference organizer Institute of Metals and Technology IMT Ljubljana.
